SaskEnergy will be conducting a controlled natural gas flare at its Melville Compressor Station, three miles north of Melville on Brewer Road.

The flare will take place between 7:00 a.m. and 12 Noon tomorrow (Wed)

The flaring is necessary to help SaskEnergy perform routine maintenance work on the gas line system.

Residents and drivers in the area may see a 20-foot flare being emitted from a 60-foot flare stack temporarily attached to the gas line system within the station yard.
