Another adjournment in the case of a man committed to stand trial, on charges stemming from a June 2017 drug and weapons bust on the George Gordon’s First Nation.

29-year-old Cody Gordon faces one count of Trafficking a Controlled Substance, and his next appearance, in Regina Court of Queen’s Bench, is set for December 18th.

In June of 2017, Mounties raided a home on the reserve, seizing a loaded rifle, knives, over seven-hundred rounds of ammunition, and a small amount of crystal meth.

In January of 2018, his co-accused, 26-year-old Hubert McNab, admitted to Unsafe Storage of a Firearm, and received one year of probation, while 25-year-old Kayla Runns had the charges against her stayed.
