The Government of Saskatchewan is investing nearly $8 million for facility and infrastructure improvements in southern provincial parks in 2020-21.
Among the projects locally that have been completed already include road improvements at Moose Mountain Provincial Park and upgrades to the boat launch at Crooked Lake Provincial Park, south of Melville.
Some projects scheduled to be complete prior to the 2021 camping season include campground electrical upgrades at Good Spirit Lake Provincial Park and upgrades for the boat launch at the Moose Mountain Provincial Park.
The government says an investment of over 14.6 million dollars will be made through the Saskatchewan Provincial park system this year.
