Closing arguments have wrapped up, for an Ottawa man who stood trial last month, on historic sexual assaults in Wynyard and Foam Lake.

In February of last year, a woman contacted Wynyard RCMP to file a report of sexual assault, dating back to between 1990 and 1996, when 57-year-old Gerard Loehr was a teacher in the area.

Since then, five other individuals have come forward with allegations against the same man.

The judge will deliver a decision in the case on November 9th, in Wynyard Provincial Court.
