Minnedosa Woman Charged In Major Drug Bust Makes First Court Appearance

A new court date has been set for a Minnedosa woman charged in connection with a major drug bust in the town.

On June 10th, a search warrant was executed at a home in the community, which resulted in the seizure of 730 grams of crystal meth, 73 grams of cocaine, numerous prescription pills and over 55-thousand dollars in cash.

The estimated street value of the drugs seized is approximately 126-thousand dollars.

31-year-old Lynsi Farouch is charged with five counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, and one count of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, and she was remanded in custody to appear again in Minnedosa Court on September 8th.
