A 21-year-old man who admitted to a death at a home in Crane River, Manitoba, has been sentenced.
Earl Moar pled guilty to Manslaughter in Dauphin last year, and was given 8 years in prison, but with time already served, he has four years and one month left.
Ste. Rose RCMP were called to the scene in January of 2017.
When officers arrived, the home was on fire, and the reported victim of an assault was unaccounted for.
The remains of a 40-year-old woman were later found inside the residence.
