480 days in jail, for a Grenfell area man charged with firearm-related offences, stemming from a traffic stop in Regina earlier this summer.
During a routine license plate check on July 27th, Queen City cops found one belonging to an unregistered vehicle, and pulled the vehicle over.
A search turned up a firearm, gun parts, ammunition, and pipes.
In Regina Provincial Court yesterday (TUES), 27-year-old Emile Sangwais pled guilty to three charges, including Transporting a Prohibited Weapon in a Motor Vehicle, receiving the jail sentence, along with an order to forfeit the weapons and ammo.
