Same Court Date Set for Two Fort Qu’Appelle Residents Accused of Trafficking Prescription Drugs

Two Fort Qu’Appelle residents charged in connection with the alleged trafficking of prescription drugs, were back in court yesterday (THURS).

67-year-old Chester Arnold and 56-year-old Vera Ryder are each charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, and will return to Fort Qu’Appelle Court next Thursday (Sept. 10).

Arnold and Ryder were two of five people arrested on February 20th, after a month-long investigation led to the seizure of opioids, cash and cell phones.

Three of the adults were later released without charges.
