Manitoba Government Providing Disaster Financial Assistance For Parts Of The Province

The Manitoba government will provide disaster financial assistance for three high water and weather-related events that hit the province earlier this year.

Infrastructure minister Ron Schuler says one of those was in the Brandon-Minnedosa area in late June and early July hit by torrential rain.

$29 million has been earmarked for the southwest part of the province.

The southeast and Whitemud River areas are also getting funding.
