Melville mayor Walter Streelasky has made it official: He will seek another term in the top elected spot in this falls civic vote. Streelasky says the Rail City has seen explosive growth in the community over the past few years, and wants to continue building on that. Streelasky, who was among 10 people awarded the Saskatchewan Order of Merit this year, has spent 20 years on council, including the last 14 as mayor.
