It may be nearly 2 weeks away, but minimum wage earners in Manitoba and Saskatchewan are getting a raise.
Starting October 1st, the minimum is going up 25 cents an hour to $11.90 from $11.65.
This adjustment is based on Manitoba’s 2019 inflation rate of 2.2 per cent, rounding up to the nearest five cents.
Saskatchewan’s minimum wage is also going up October 1st.
The wage will go up 13 cents an hour to $11. 45 from $11.32.
