One of three people ordered to stand trial on charges stemming from several robberies on the Muscowpetung First Nation last year, was back in court on Friday (18th).
26-year-old Jarrett Poitras, of the Muscowpetung First Nation remains in custody, to appear in Regina Court of Queen’s Bench again on October 16th.
His co-accused – 28-year-old Jere Pinacie, of the Muskowpetung First Nation, and 22-year-old Michael Obey, of Regina, are also in custody, though trial dates have not been set.
On March 4th, 2019, RCMP say a convenience store on the reserve was robbed of money and tobacco products, and then on July 23rd, the same store was robbed, and a home on the reserve was broken into.
