Saskatchewan Government Invests 19-Million Dollars Into Yorkton Regional High School

The Saskatchewan Government is investing 19-million dollars into the Yorkton Regional High School as part of their 7.5-billion dollar two-year capital plan.

Director of Education for the Good Spirit School Division Quinton Robertson notes that most of the money will go towards renovations of the school.

Renovations will include work on the school’s H-Vac system, fire suppression, and exterior and replacement of the roof.

Yorkton MLA Greg Ottenbreit comments that the funding will help upgrade one of the pillars of the city and hopes to see the school last another 50 years and beyond.
