Rossburn RCMP arrested an impaired driver while out on patrol last night (Tues).
Mounties came across a two-vehicle collision on Highway 264 at the junction of Highway 45 in Rossburn, where it was determined that an SUV tried to turn south onto the Highway when it struck a northbound car.
While RCMP were talking to those involved in the collision, the driver of the SUV attempted to get away, but failed because the vehicle remained in park.
A 69-year-old Rossburn man is charged with Operation While Impaired of a Motor Vehicle and Failure or Refusal to Comply with Demand, and was released from custody for a December court date in Rossburn.
