With growing numbers of COVID-19 cases in Winnipeg, the Manitoba government has introduced targeted measures under the “Restricted” level of the pandemic response system. New health orders took effect last night, and include limiting the maximum size of gatherings to 5 people, casino’s and bingo halls must close, and the maximum occupancy of retail businesses and restaurants is limited to 50 per cent of their usual capacity. The measures are in effect until November 2nd.
