The Yorkton Exhibition Association has received a major donation towards its new grandstand project.
Yorkton Business Improvement District Executive Director Donna Brothwell handed over a cheque this (Fri) afternoon of $10-thousand.
Yorkton’s 23rd annual Santa Claus Parade will be going ahead on Saturday, November 28th.
Yorkton Business Improvement District board member Andrew Rae says it will be a drive-thru event at the Gallagher Centre parking lot.
Rae adds that the City of Yorkton will provide public transit for those who don’t have their own vehicles, but COVID-19 safety regulations will apply.
