Polls open between 9:00 and 8:00 in today’s general election in Saskatchewan, capping a 27 day campaign, which is the shortest allowed. Elections Saskatchewan reports a record number of people voted early through advance polls, with 185,061 doing so. The 2nd day of advance polling October 21st saw 43,309 ballots cast. At dissolution, the governing Saskatchewan Party had 46 of the 61 seats in the Legislature, the NDP 13 and 2 were vacant. GX94 will have live coverage starting at 8:00 Sk. time.
