The Saskatchewan Party has won another majority in the legislature, and it could be bigger than ever. Elections Saskatchewan says the party was elected or leading in 50 of the 61 seats available, with the NDP elected or leading in 11. There were 61 thousand ballots mailed in, so the final total could change yet.
It was all SaskParty in the 8 ridings in our area: Greg Ottenbreit in Yorkton, Warren Kaeding in Melville-Saltcoats, Hugh Nerlien in Kelvington-Wadena, Fred Bradshaw in Carrot River Valley, Don McMorris in Indian Head-Milestone, Terry Dennis in Canora-Pelly, Steven Bonk in Moosomin, and newcomer Travis Keisig in Last Mountain-Touchwood.
