A man charged with Second Degree Murder, in connection with a death in Pukatawagan, has made another court appearance.
On the evening of June 26th, Mounties were called to a wooded area of the community, where they discovered the body of a 22-year-old woman.
22-year-old August Thunder Caribou appeared in The Pas Provincial Court yesterday (MON), and remains in custody, with the matter adjourned to November 16th.
RCMP noted Caribou began working as a guard at the Pukatawagan detachment on June 5th, and he last worked a shift there June 20th, however, Mounties say there is no link between his employment, the victim and the charges laid against him.
