Three people arrested in connection with illegal tobacco sales at a business in Pelly, have admitted their guilt.
In Kamsack today (Tue), 71-year-old Brian Clough pled guilty to three charges, and was fined nearly 134-thousand dollars.
His co-accused, 25-year-old Brittany Clough and 25-year-old Andrew Popoff, were each fined close to 58-thousand dollars for admitting to one offence.
Back in January, RCMP and the Saskatchewan Ministry of Finance conducted six search warrants in Pelly and Hyas.
Officials seized about 227-thousand illegal cigarettes, 25 pounds of loose-leaf tobacco, and about 18-hundred dollars in cash.
