Overdose deaths in 2020 are nearing 300 in Saskatchewan after the latest coroners report shows a total of 296 from January 1st to October 26th. Jason Mercredi with Prairie Harm Reduction says the Ministry of Health is funding what they can, but he would like to see more done by the health authority to address this escalating issue. There were 171 deaths in 2018 which was the previous record.
