Multiple individuals in SIGN’s Early Learning Centre in Yorkton have tested positive for COVID, based on contact tracing and testing by public health officials.
This, after confirmation on Sunday (Nov. 1), that one person had tested positive.
Based on public health recommendations, the 72-hour closure announced for the Early Learning Centre on Sunday, will be extended by 14 days, with the facility to reopen on November 16th.
More information will be provided to parents as it becomes available, and public health may contact parents or guardians of kids who have been in close contact with those who tested positive, to provide further guidance.
