A Canora man is facing several charges stemming from a stolen vehicle investigation.
Last night, Regina Police spotted a black Audi that had been reported and attempted a traffic stop.
The drive sped away, leading Queen City cops on a chase that included the deployment of a spike belt with partial effectiveness.
Officers discontinued the chase, but found the stolen vehicle parked on Highway 1, and eventually they located the suspect hiding in a field, where they made the arrest.
27-year-old Chase Badham is charged with possession of a weapon, possession of property obtained by crime, and breach of probation.
