An Esterhazy resident is 100-thousand dollars richer, after one of the four five-dollar Instant Lotto Max Zing tickets she picked up in late October, turned out to be a lucky one.

Kim Schaefer bought the big winner at Tri-Star Foods in Esterhazy, and she used the ticket checker in the store to scan her tickets right then and there, only to be shocked by her windfall.

Schaefer doesn’t have any specific plans for her prize, but says that once things calm down, she might like to do some travelling, perhaps taking her kids to Hawaii.
