SIGN To Undertake Housing Study

Over the next several months, a comprehensive housing needs assessment study will be done by SIGN, and the Yorkton Social Housing Committee. The goal is to address the the growing homelessness issue in the city, by developing a plan for safe, affordable permanent housing. A needs assessment is expected to be completed by June next year. The groups have been granted $50 thousand by the Canada-wide Community Housing Transformation Center to conduct the study.
