A Canora man with a history of violent behaviour, is the subject of an application for Dangerous Offender status.

On February 23rd, Canora RCMP were called to a home, on a report of a female being assaulted.

The victim was able to fight off the suspect, and ran to a neighboring residence to call 9-1-1.

In Yorkton Provincial Court today (Fri), the judge ordered that 53-year-old Jason Ludba undergo a psychiatric assessment to help determine if a Dangerous Offender hearing should go ahead.
