Canada’s top junior male hockey players have returned to the ice following a 14-day quarantine due to COVID-19.
However, players were released from Canada’s selection camp in Red Deer, Alberta, because they were unfit to return to play based on protocols.
Defencemen Matthew Robertson, Mason Millman and Daemon Hunt and forwards Ridly Greig and Xavier Simoneau were sent home.
Yorkton’s Kaedan Korczak is still at the camp as he looks to crack Team Canada for the 2021 World Junior Hockey Championships that kicks off on Christmas Day in Edmonton.
