New Court Date for Former Yorkton Man Accused of Dangerous Driving

A former Yorkton man remains in custody, after making another court appearance, on charges stemming from a dangerous driving incident in Regina.

On December 2nd, cops in the Queen City spotted a stolen vehicle travelling erratically, and tried to stop it.

After the successful deployment of a spike belt, the driver abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot, eventually being arrested by police.

21-year-old Colton LaBelle faces seven counts, including Dangerous Driving, and his bail hearing did not go ahead Friday (11th), as scheduled, and he was remanded in custody, to appear again in Regina on Wednesday (16th).
