Snowfall Warnings Issued

A system rolling along the U.S border could bring quite a bit of snow to the region tonight, and snowfall warnings are out for areas including Yorkton, Esterhazy and Melville, while winter storm watches are in effect for areas including Dauphin, Roblin and Russell. Up to 20 cm of snow is expected from a system tracking along the U.S border, with higher amounts possible closer to the Trans Canada corridor. The snow will be with us until tomorrow afternoon, then much colder air floods into the region. Temperatures will moderate in time for Christmas.
