Preliminary Hearing Set for Two Fort Qu’Appelle Residents Accused of Trafficking Prescription Drugs

Two Fort Qu’Appelle residents charged in connection with the alleged trafficking of prescription drugs, were back in court yesterday (Mon).

67-year-old Chester Arnold and 56-year-old Vera Ryder will return to Fort Qu’Appelle for their Preliminary Hearing on May 31st.

Arnold and Ryder were two of five people arrested in February, after a month-long investigation led to the seizure of opioids, cash and cell phones.

Three of the adults were later released without charges.
