One of two VIDO-Intervac COVID-19 vaccines has received authorization from Health Canada to initiate a Phase 1 clinical vaccine trial. Lab director at the U of S campus Dr. Volker Gerdts says this is the first of two COVID-19 vaccines they are developing. Clinical trials are slated to start in the new year.
