Sask. Roughriders Announce Quarterback Cody Fajardo Signs Extension Through 2022 Season

Quarterback Cody Fajardo is staying with the Saskatchewan Roughriders after signing an extension through to the 2022 season.

In 2019, Fajardo had a breakout season that saw him named a CFL All-Star and become the West Division nominee for Most Outstanding Player.

The 28-year-old led the league with 4,302 passing yards while throwing 18 touchdowns and added 611 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns.

Prior to coming to the Riders, Fajardo spent one season with the B.C. Lions and two with the Toronto Argonauts, winning a Grey Cup in 2017.
