The Saskatchewan Rural Municipalities Association has issued a harsh statement criticizing political figures for travelling abroad during the pandemic. SARM president Ray Orb says such behavior is reckless, irresponsible and diminishes public trust in political leaders. Orb says none of the SARM executive and board of directors have travelled outside Canada during the pandemic and he encourages everyone to follow public health measures.
