Grenfell Man Accused of Dangerous Driving and Flight From Police Made First Court Appearance

A new court date has been set for a Grenfell man arrested early Friday (8th) morning, in Regina, following an incident involving a truck with a stolen licence plate.

Around 4:20 a.m., Regina Police pulled up behind a truck in an alley, and noticed the driver slumped behind the wheel.

When the police vehicle approached, the truck took off, and a short pursuit began, with officers stopping the vehicle and arresting the suspect about 15 minutes later.

40-year-old Devin Ginnis made his first appearance in Regina on Friday, on charges including Flight From Police and Dangerous Driving, and his next court date was set for March 25th.
