Trial Re-Scheduled for Yorkton Man Charged in Connection to 2018 Fatal Collision Near Melville

A Yorkton man charged in connection with a fatal two-vehicle collision near Melville on Christmas Day, 2018, has had his trial re-scheduled due to COVID-19.

27-year-old Bradley Kormos faces three counts of Dangerous Driving Causing Death, and one count of Dangerous Driving Causing Bodily Harm.

The case returns to Yorkton Court of Queen’s Bench in June.

Police say a half-ton truck crossed the centre line and collided with an S-U-V on Highway 10, about 16 kilometres west of Melville.

16-year-old Teagan Hollinger, 51-year-old Christine Keller, and 48-year-old William Bellegarde were killed, while 18-year-old Cassidy Hollinger was injured.
