The deadline for submissions for the 2021 Yorkton Film Festival is January 31st.
Executive Director Randy Goulden says they’ve already had quite a few submissions for the May 27th to 30th event.
She says they’re just a little over what they usually get at this time of the process, so they’re pleased.
As for whether the festival will be open to the public, or held virtually again, Goulden says a decision will be made in March.
“Our board will be looking at that probably mid-February to see where we are in the process. We will be talking with other festivals that are dated for around that time to see what we’re doing collectively to keep our industry safe.” Goulden explained.
