The next step to develop housing on Cameron Way in Yorkton has been taken. Mayor Mitch Hippsley states that there is a need for low to moderate cost housing in the city. If fully approved, 27 condos will be constructed. Meantime, the first Civic Recognition Award was handed out at Yorkton city council. Jason Boyda took the award in the adult category, as he was recognized for his work as a teacher, and as a coach for basketball and football.
