A Manitoba RCMP Officer is being investigated on allegations of intentionally hitting a dog sitting on the road in Pukatawagan, with a police vehicle, and on-duty, January 6th.

The RCMP could not give information about the officer-in-question, but did say the officer has not returned to the community and has been placed on administrative leave.

The dog’s condition is not known as efforts to locate the canine were unsuccessful.
