Yorkton Woman Sentenced to Prison Time for Fentanyl Trafficking

A guilty plea has been entered by one of three Yorkton residents, arrested in connection with a drug bust in the city.

On September 13th, Yorkton Mounties raided a home, and seized 28.5 grams of fentanyl, with a street value of 17-thousand dollars.

In Yorkton Provincial Court today (Thu), 43-year-old Christy McLean pled guilty to possession for the purpose of trafficking, and was sentenced to 40 months in prison, less time already served.

Her co-accused, 18-year old Myia Tovee, is back in court next Thursday, while 52-year-old Leon Keshane returns January 25th.
