Manitoba’s Independent Investigation Unit is probing an alleged incident involving an on-duty RCMP member.

The IIU was notified that January 8th, an officer in a marked RCMP cruiser was driving recklessly and at an excessive speed on highway 83 without justification.

They gave no specific location, but that highway runs down the western side of Manitoba from Swan River to the border with North Dakota.
