Manitoba Releases COVID-19 Enforcement Stats For Week of Jan. 11-17, 2021

Last week’s COVID-19 enforcement numbers for Manitoba have been released.

Between January 11th and 17th, a total of 77 tickets and 183 warnings were issued, including nine $298 tickets to people who were not wearing masks in indoor places, along with one business that was given a $5,000 fine.

As well, $1,296 tickets for violating public health orders were issued, with 45 of those instances involving gathering in private residences or outdoors.

Included in those 45, were nine fines handed out at a protest rally outside Bell MTS Place in Winnipeg, before the Jets’ game last Thursday (14th).
