Man Responsible For April 2018 Broncos Bus Crash Fighting to Stay in Canada

The former truck driver responsible for the Humboldt Broncos bus crash in the spring of 2018 is fighting to avoid deportation.

Jaskirat Sing Sidhu pleaded guilty in 2019 to 16 counts of dangerous driving causing death and 13 more counts causing bodily harm, and is currently serving an eight year prison term.

Sidhu has submitted papers to the Canada Border Services Agency pleading why he should be allowed to remain in the country, and is currently awaiting a decision.
