RCMP are investigating the theft of cattle from rural properties in Moosomin and Fairlight.

Between October and December of 2020, a local farmer reported 35 cows and 28 calves on multiple sections of land in those areas missing.

All the cows were branded with a bar over TE, and Livestock Services are assisting with the investigation.

The 35 cows consisted of 22 black and white 13 red cows.

Steer calves have green ear tags, heifer calves have yellow ear tags, calves aren’t branded.
