Manitoba’s Public Utilities Board has given their blessing to a rate decrease at Centra Gas.

Effective February 1st, the move will save the average homeowner 2% on their bills, or about $14 a year.

The rate will be reviewed again in May.

Customers who signed fixed term-fixed price contracts will not see the decrease.
