Officials Are Concerned About Increasing COVID Numbers In Canada

Federal officials continue to be very concerned about the number of COVID-19 cases in Canada. Chief public health officer Dr. Theresa Tam says a national average of over 6 thousand cases per day are being reported, and high numbers of people experiencing severe illness. Officials also continue screening for new variants of the coronavirus, and Tam says so far, 31 have been discovered in Canada
