Court Appearances Made By Two Yorkton Residents Charged in Connection to September Drug Bust

A new court date has been set for two Yorkton residents, arrested in connection with a drug bust in the city.

On September 13th, Yorkton Mounties raided a home, and seized a significant quantity of fentanyl.

In Yorkton Provincial Court yesterday (MON), 52-year-old Leon Keshane had his matters adjourned to February 8th in Yorkton, while 18-year-old Myia Tovee’s matters were adjourned to today (TUES), in Regina.

Earlier this month, the third person charged in the case, 43-year-old Christy McLean, of Yorkton, pled guilty to Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, and was sentenced to 40 months in jail, less time served.
