A new chair for the Yorkton Business Improvement District has been appointed for 2021.

Doug Hull is the new chair of the YBID board, and says there is one project he is excited for the most for this year.

“I look forward to the Highway 9 project. It’s going to bring new ideas to Yorkton to make it more beautiful and exciting when you come in,” Hull said.

Hull takes over as chair from Phoebe Buckle, who served in the position for 2020.

He sees the role as chair as daunting but feels ready to take it on.
