Canada’s Ag Minister Wants Help From Sask.

The federal government is now looking to Saskatchewan after reports say Manitoba rejected improvements to agristability, that would remove the reference margin limit and increase the compensation rate from 70 to 80 percent. Saskatchewan is concerned about the cost and still has not made a final decision, but Bibeau wants an answer by the end of the month to allow the improvements to be retroactive to 2020.
