Yorkton Resident Arrested in Connection to September Drug Bust Released From Custody For New Court Date

A new court date has been set for one of three Yorkton residents, arrested in connection with a drug bust in the city.

On September 13th, Yorkton Mounties raided a home, and seized a significant quantity of fentanyl.

In Regina Provincial Court yesterday (TUES), 18-year-old Myia Tovee was released from custody, to appear again next Tuesday (Feb. 2).

Her co-accused, 52-year-old Leon Keshane, will be back in Yorkton Court on February 8th, while the third person charged, 42-year old Christy McLean, was sentenced to jail time earlier this month, after pleading guilty to Posession for the Purpose of Trafficking.
