A man charged following a triple homicide in Prince Albert, made another court appearance yesterday (MON), where he waived his right to a preliminary hearing, electing to be tried by judge and jury.
No trial date has been set for 28-year-old Nathaniel Carrier, who faces three counts of First Degree Murder and one count of Attempted Murder.
He has not entered a plea, and remains in custody to appear in Prince Albert Court of Queen’s Bench on February 12th.
Prince Albert police were called to a home in the city last March, where they found a 56-year-old man, a 56-year-old woman, and a seven-year-old boy dead, and a five year-old girl critically injured.
The girl was airlifted to an Edmonton hospital, and after multiple surgeries, she’s now back home.
